Labor
Access to Mitchell1’s Labor is available as an option in WEBLINK, initially you will receive a 30-day free trial of the labor guide. As most users are aware all Labor Guides are just that, a guide and not an absolute you will run into very dirty, rusted, abused etc. conditions and should adjust your time appropriately. The labor guide is included as a reference only and will not create written estimates etc. Now, as previously described select the appropriate vehicle you are in need of labor time for. This area functions the same as does parts only the end result is a listing of labor times, these times when displayed show an extended price for each line item which is based on the labor rate you define in the Setup utility from the WEBLINK menu. Also note that labor contains a Search utility, again use it in the same fashion as you would for parts. Being sure to start your search very simply then expand the search text to reduce the number of results if necessary. The follow is an example of a labor look-up.

The beginning of a labor look-up, note the availability of a search utility for items you may not be sure which way to go. Also note the Previous Sub-Categories that you may also select from. As usage is continued, the previous list will grow to the length as defined in the Setup section from the WEBLINK menu.

In this example the User can choose search or category selection and will need to answer some specific conditioning questions to continue. The bold red text are shortcuts back to the described level where you may re-select items.

In this example, Engine Emission System Inspection was selected. Note the extended amount included with the labor guide information, this is based on the value set up by the WEBLINK User under Labor Rate in the WEBLINK Setup section from the menu.

In the above example, the User is using the category selection method for cooling system information.

NOTE: At times this is the point where you may need to make specific conditioning selection(s).

Select COOLING from the Sub-Category list.

Labor guide information returned pertaining to the previous selections made.
